Reasoning: It hurts to trade away Murray, I was so happy when I got to draft him. However, I still felt my team lacked scoring and I had 2 franchise d-men in Murray and Fowler. I decided to move one of them, and between the two Murray is the obvious choice. NYI get's their captain for the next twenty years, and some nice value to bridge the gap between Murray and Tavares.

Tavares is a elite playerr and with some strength training will rebound from a tough season on Long Island. He'll be a core piece with Tampa, and were really happy to have him.

Good dealing Chris. It sucked to lose out on Nash at the last minute, but I appreciate you being understanding about my frustrations. Best of luck, take care of Mr. Murray!

Again - putting my stamp on this team. More pieces of the puzzle. The Defense has been this teams biggest issue and going forward with Murray, Bigras and Marincin who is already here is a big step up. Mags will likely be a good fit with his speed and shot and Bigras again will top out higher than anything I currently have after Marincin. A couple of Pot boosters I'll take a chance onto provide some depth and again more picks to add to the shelf.
