So I'm stuck $250, it's 2 a.m., and I'm in a shitty mood.

Played 2nd/3rd best hand all fucking day. Flop a set and have a straight or flush turned/rivered on me. Flop four flush and hit two bricks. Pick up an over pair, there's a bigger one out there or someone flopped a middle set. Just one of those days where everyone's the god damn cooler.

I'll sim first thing tomorrow morning when I wake up. Sorry boys.

i always like to post my HH at 2+2, they'll criticize almost every single decision you make throughout a hand (right or wrongly) and at the very least make you think about different ways you could of played the hand which should help in future. warning: not a forum for fragile ego's.

That's just it. While I'm sure there are things that I did wrong, I don't feel like I played badly. I made all the tough laydowns when I knew I was beat and, if they were being truthful (when there wasn't a showdown), then I was beat. I saw on several occasions that I had the second or third best hand on showdowns. Two problems for me. One, I hate the place I play. Donkeys all abound, slow pace of play from the dealers, and I'm not a huge fan of 75 min 300 max. Being jobless, I can't sit with 3, I usually sit with 150. And then, I don't have any cash behind me to play more aggressively, so I play more tight than I otherwise would. The other problem is that I have to play 1-2. It's too loose of a game for me. I'd much rather sit 3-6, but I don't have 5 or 6 to sit in that game at a given time.

You can't bet somebody out of a flopped flush draw with a $20 bet into a $15 pot when they've got upwards of 250, 300 in front of them. Flopping a set, I've found, is almost useless in these games because some jackoff will chase and hit. Your only hope is to pair the board. Sure, I could bet $40 into a $15 pot, but then I'm completely pot-committed and can't get off the hand later.

There's a charity place near me that charges you $15/hour sitting fee, with a 1-2 200 max game. I watched a bit of it once when I went to play a $40 tourney and the standard raise pre-flop was anywhere from $14-20. It amazes me. Damn internet generation. I'm more of an old-school player.

Anyway, sim will be up shortly. Thanks for your patience, boys.

As predicted St. Louis busts out of his goal scoring slump with two, Steven Stamkos has a three point night and Victor Hedman is one smooth skating bastard.

Awesome shootout win, even though the Yotes should've had the regulation win but couldn't hold onto it. Hanzal continues to impress.

I knew I had Adrian Aucoin and Petr Prucha on the team for a reason. :P

Nice to see the win even with Greiss playing for the first time in over a month. Who needs secondary scoring when you can just roll one sweet line?

Speaking of one sweet line, I just noticed that asshole Ehrhoff put Heatley out for a week. Thanks for all of those great years, Christian .
