All four favorites are victorious tonight, what a surprise! It's a good night to be an Alexander as Burmistrov, Frolov, and Radulov all score for Russia in their 6-1 romp of Slovenia, who did manage 23 shots, a significantly better outcome than the others. Austria plays pretty competitively with Finland in their 4-2 defeat, as Michael Raffl celebrates being added to the file with a goal. The Americans overcome a bad start after falling behind just 1:06 into the game as Paul Stastny scores a pair just like his real-life counterpart did today. The Lars Volden did everything he could for Norway, stopping 46 out of 50 Canadian shots but the greatest EHM team ever created is victorious by four. Congratulations to Blaz Gregorc for being the first Slovenian to score for his country in the Olympics.

I turned fighting pretty much off and lowered the injury slider.

I think that's goals from all 4 lines....Kovalchuk line 2, Kuznetsov line 3, Radulov line 4, Frolov line 1.....bring up whoever is next, also we will defeat EHM's greatest.

The Lars Volden should've gotten a star there. 46 saves is a lot more impressive than Luongo's 8-save shutout, unless EHM is giving Luongo credit for the outstanding focus required to not fall asleep in his net.

Anyhoo, good win, etc.

Hah, Getzlaf and Ole-Kristian Tollefsen (whoever that is) actually got into a scrap.

Solid performances by some of the consensus "shouldn't have even made the team" guys: Schenn with 2 hits and 4 takeaways (0 giveaways), Jordan Staal with 3 hits and 2 takeaways (no giveaways). Good stuff.

23:07 3-1 RUS Alexander Burmistrov [2] (Alexander Ovechkin, Alexander Radulov)PP

Now I want to see how Team Alexander would do in a tournament. Stalock would even give them a goalie!

Wow, that was actually...competitive.
