Alex Burrows will miss the next two games after taking out Michael Sauer until after St. Patrick's Day.

The Coyotes get back on the winning track by handling the Avalanche on the road. The Rangers shut out the Canadiens, despite nearly getting doubled in shots. The Penguins survive against the Flyers, while the Flames and Kings play a very tight-checking game, with the Flames prevailing in a skills competition.

Seriously, what the fuck.

That's two losses in a row you've given me to crap teams. Starting another bad streak with you here.

Two goals, 16 shots and a shutout for the King? Feels like old times...

Was Patrik Nemeth really that important to our OFFENSE?

Let's hope I never have to say this again but thanks to Vladimir Mihalik and Garnett Exelby, my bottom pairing blueliners, I get another ugly win against a good team to make it 2 in a row.

I must admit the view is pretty sweet from up there.
No matter what Montreal does tomorrow, I will remember what the feeling from watching my Flames on top is.

Great work, team.

Yeah I was looking forward to re-claiming my no.1 spot. 1 loss to CAR, whatever, can get over that. A loss to PIT, I can get over that to. But losses to NYI, WPG, and now NYR are just inexcuseable. Reminding me of the team that I had a few years back that would never win.

They need to turn it around fast as PIT is coming into town only 3 points back.

Thank God. I was starting to worry I wouldn't win another road game all year. Now I'm just worried that Bryzgalov won't win another game all year.

You'll have to change your username to 'Holmgren' then.

No excuses, gotta beat the elite teams if I have any shot at coming back this season. Now 10 points back with only 1 game in hand. Although I have lots of games left vs. Detroit and Nashville. We'll see.

The worst part is that Bryz is still having his best year statistically. Though, that's probably got more to do with the bone-crushing D in front of him, because Greiss hasn't exactly been a slouch this year either.

I wish Vancouver would get a GM already so I could sell them half my team to get Luongo. :P

EDIT: Then again... King Henrik. You're rebuilding, right Pat? :D

That depends on which 1/2 of your team you're peddling. If it's the one where I can reunite the Sauers and FINALLY nab Boyd Gordon, then let's go.

I dunno, that's kind of a stretch... throw in Slater maybe. I guess I could do Sauer + Gordon for Henrik + Slater. You wanna post it or should I? :D

Better watch that playoff seeding closely, MTL/WPG II won't end well this year either.
