The Canes provide no help in my quest to chase down the Panthers. Cody McLeod will sit two games for injuring Wayne Primeau for a month. Thomas Vanek is a stud in any form of reality he's placed into. Columbus' young guns lead the way with Kitsyn and Danault each pouring in two goals.

Zach Budish powers the Lightning attack scoring twice on the power play. Iginla's return continues to be successful, while Detroit is victorious in a key divisional tilt.

Yup. I always wonder what would have happened if Kariya was concussion-free. No Stevens hit, no Suter hit, no Kaleta hit. Still was a PPG player up until St. Louis, not counting that horrible Avalanche year.
