Boston/Los Angeles

To Los Angeles: Zach Hamill (76)
To Boston: Vladimir Mihalek (70), Vyacheslav Voinov (70) and CGY 2nd Round 2013 pick.
Reasoning: Zach Hamill has value on offense. He's good at faceoffs and as a playmaker, but he doesn't have the talent or proper skillset to crack my top 6. He's also a bit of a defensive liability but should flourish in the Kings top-6.
I've been looking for an improvement for my top-4 defensemen, and Mihalek should be the shot in the arm my defensive corp needs. Voinov should become a top-4 defenseman just around the time Mark Stuart starts to decline, or can fill any gap left by Stuart should he be traded to fill other gaps in my lineup. For now, Voinov should help my AHL squad immensely and help some of the other youngsters develop as well.
I had to move a 2nd round pick in the deal with Calgary, so why not take one back?
Pleasure doing business with you, Hugo, and good luck.
