Referees are following their mandates closely as very few infractions are going unpunished. A lot of penalties over the first two nights of EHEC, six straight on the Isles to start the game and put them in a 2-0 hole. New Jersey looks like they could be a force in the Eastern Conference with a dominating win over the Capitals. The Sharks and Kings take care of their affairs, while the Red Wings blow three different one-goal leads in a one-goal victory over the Predators.

Solid signs ti start the season, however going to have to work on that powerplay. Only 1 of 10. Good news is we get the W. Kovy with a couple of goals and Abdelkader on the scoreboard on his first night as a Devil.

Solid road win - only 4 giveaways, all from forwards. Jaden Schwartz picks up his first career point and Marco Sturm makes me glad he's still on the squad. Next episode features guest star Henrik Lundqvist and what's left of the New York Rangers.

Hire Cesar Millan. He does good work.

No disrespect here but what's to be shocked about?
LA's top 6 forward is something special.
Matt's Pens might be the only other offensive squad that can top Hugo's group of guys.
