Three higher seeds go down tonight as we kick off the third postseason in EHEC history. The Penguins score two goals in just under two minutes in the third to propel themselves to a 3-2 series opening win. The Habs stifle the Jets as Sam Gagner pots a pair after drawing the ire of his GM late in the season.

Out west, the Blackhawks roar back from a 3-1 deficit after two on the strength of first star Patrick Kane sending the Saddledome crowd home unhappy. The Coyotes win in Hollywood in spite of a quiet night from Shane Doan thanks to a hot start, scoring just 23 seconds into the game.

AHL playoffs will start tomorrow night. It'll be a late sim for those, I'll be out late. Not sure who's simming the NHL playoffs, I'm sure they'll let you guys know.

Lost due to injuries.
Look for us to BOUNCE RIGHT BACK on friday night and not leave Calgary without a first playoff win.
Caputi and Elsner better lace em' up tight next game as they might get called upon a lot more. :?
Remember you asked for it, Femur.

Wow, Kane and Seabrook set up a pretty epic comeback there. And what happened in Winnipeg? I'm awaiting Brad's 200 word minimum dissection.

Four NZT lines from one of the GMs crying foul about line tactics in season. Pot meet kettle. 8-)

At least the real life Kings got off to a good start against the Canucks.

Yup, I specifically warned Adam that NZT was going to get ugly come playoff time but he didn't listen. I'm not the first team to do it, and I'm definitely not going to be the last.

Besides, it's only 1 game.
