As I look out my window and stare at the very full, very bright moon outside, I try to piece together the events surrounding the end of the Dallas/Anaheim game. The Ducks score a late 6-on-4 goal to send the game to overtime. At the 2:51 mark of overtime, Joe Pavelski decides to go fencing and gets a 5 min major for spearing. 56 seconds later, Joe Pavelski scores the game winning goal.

In other action, the Jackets throw up a giant stink pickle against the Blues, the Capitals trap the hell out of the Bruins, Mark Alt takes out Ryane Clowe for a month as the dirty Coyotes continue to run wild in EHEC, the Sabres manage a point but conference opponents Philly and Montreal get two. Colorado decides that scoring goals is better than giving them up in a win over the Oilers which vaults the victorious Predators into the 8th seed in the Western Conference. Carolina rights the ship for a night dropping the Lightning to 10th in the East and the Islanders and Devils are now tied for the final spot in the draft lottery.

If only Dallas could have pulled out a victory in OT, this would have been a perfect sim.

You know, I would've been fine with a loss if I could have just escaped that fucking hellhole Phoenix with my roster intact. I swear, one test sim I had 3 of my players injured by different Coyotes goons.

Besides that, screw you guys I'm on top of the league. Regular season 4 lyfe. But I have to admit I'm pretty impressed with Pavelski scoring the overtime game winner while killing his own penalty. And seriously Adam, your guys couldn't beat the Blues? They've been losing games to stiff breezes recently.

Where the hell is my top line? Anyway I'll take the two points and 3-0 in my Western road swing. Timothy picks up a big win for me over Boston. Evgeny Kuznetsov with two assists and Souray two goals. John Madden fill-in Petteri Nokelianen scores! Legwand, Gagner more points.

I'll gladly take a point considering every test sim I did ended in a shut-out, and two of them ended with Roy out for a significant amount of time.

I can't fucking beat it, I might as well join it at this point.
EDIT: Fuck off, Taylor Pyatt.

Goddamn. Can't beat the Sharks in my own house.

Dan, you're still the team to beat in the division despite playing almost the entire year without Radulov. With Clowe out, you probably won't give up another goal for the rest of the fucking season.
