Happy Trade Deadline Day, boys. Well, in 3.5 hours anyway.

1. As in years past, I will invoke the "One Committee Member Approval Rule" for trades. That, more often than not, will be just me. This is only applicable to minor deals. Bigger trades will require a 2/3 vote of approval. The backup trade Committee could also be called upon.

2. The EHEC Trade Deadline will be 11 pm EST, as posted in the updates thread yesterday. Have all deals posted by then.

3. EHEC's NHL Trade Deadline chat set to open at www.ehechockey.com at 11 a.m. EST. Will run until after the trade deadline passes. Make sure I know who you are when you go to talk. I have to approve your comments the first time, so make sure I know who I'm approving.

4. EHEC Trade Deadline Chat will be set to run from 8-11:30 pm EST. Odds are, Ryan will sim within that timeframe as well.

5. Remember that to be eligible for February's activity rewards, you must show up to one or both of the chats and be a "contributing member". So, don't just show up and be quiet. I'm sure we'll be discussing all kinds of things.

6. All salary cap numbers are updated in the thread in the League Memos forum. Please be aware of them tomorrow when making your deals.

Sorry guys. Because of the time it takes to do the pro-rated salaries (I want to check salary cap numbers tomorrow afternoon) and the fact that it's 12:15, I'm going to do this stuff tomorrow. I'll try and do it in the morning, but if not, I'll do it in the early afternoon. I should have it done by 3 pm, and I'll be sure to let you guys know to download the file.

As a reminder, if you want your newly-acquired players in the lineup for tomorrow night's sim, hit Continue to Next Day before setting your lines. Then save your lines normally and upload them in the GMCP. It takes an overnight for the players to be available in the lines, despite being available in the Players/Staff tab.

Thanks to Ryan, I realized that I resigned the GMs for the first four games tonight so I could try out my new lines. My apologies. Newly uploaded file is correct.

Protip: Moving your next game to the top of the day's list in schedule.ehm is often less effort than resigning GMs, at least for me where my games are almost always at the bottom of the list.

I've always wondered if EHM results are any different if all teams have assigned GMs vs just one. Guess we'll never know.

Just open schedule.ehm, find the list of games for the day you want, cut out the two lines with your team's game and paste it at the top of the list. Then you don't need to worry about simming other games because yours will come first.

You might still want to resign any GMs that have popup messages about players passing through waivers/graduating from prospects status/etc.

Once the numbers are fixed, I can't save the notepad file anymore ...

Might have something to do with the fact that I now have to run EHM as administrator, since it's the only way my game does not load Feb.18.

You must have screwed up the permissions on your EHM folder, so it won't let you modify any files in it unless you're running programs as administrator.

Sucks to be me.
