A busy Sunday is in the books early and the gnashing of teeth can begin promptly. J.T. Miller posts two apples in his first game after being recalled from Wilkes-Barre this morning. San Jose wakes up after spotting Corey Perry two goals by recording four unanswered of their own. da Hawks and Blues require overtime to determine a winner in a divisional matchup.

Phil Kessel has a productive night for Boston as he returns to his college hockey home. Evgeny Kuznetsov tries his best to pick up the slack for the injured Kostitsyn, scoring the game winner. EHEC Nikita Filatov realizes the promise left unfulfilled by his real-life counterpart. Pat's Rangers beat the best of the west Columbus. Nick Bjugstad pads his stats in Winnipeg, as my Jets enjoy the home cooking.

Have the Rangers found a new lynchpin? I think the Rangers might have found a new lynchpin.

 We can only hope.

Fun stuff from yesterday's test sim: we won once 3-1 on a natural short-handed hat trick from Jim Slater, in 45 seconds during the same penalty. Ever seen that one before?

Appreciated, but I was attempting to leave in Mr. Anderson for games I knew I wasn't going to win because Bernier has too many GP.

I had a sim a long time ago where Todd Marchant scored a natural hat trick while killing the same penalty, but I think it was an Ethan Moreau 5-minute slashing major. Slater's way more awesome than Marchant though.
