Confirmed. I've been looking for a solid defensive defenseman since forever. Barker is decent but Komisarek is a better veteran for a marginal price difference. I have offensive LD up the wazoo so Barker's shooting is of no use to me. Killian makes up for the fact that Komisarek's an 18-month rental.

Confirmed - my transition game from the defense has gone to shit ever since I traded Green. Barker's no Green on offense, and he's no Komisarek on defense, but he's a bit more balanced than either of them. The team needed another shake-up too. I had my eye on Hudon during the draft, and I think Dan wanted Killian, so I guess it's worked itself out.

Actually I noticed that Komisarek should have another year on his contract in players.ehm. The real life Leafs would be lucky if it expired next July. I don't know if Tim cares about this or not.

Doesn't make a difference to me.
