A hefty slate tonight, so let's get to it. Boston remains a tough club to defeat even with an absent general manager. Mike's Leafs destroy my poor Jets with the PP. The trapping Rangers slow down the free-wheeling Panthers. Ryan's Flyers learn a bit about their standing with a cross-conference win over da Hawks.

Nazem Kadri displays his EHM toughness, taking a shot in the shootout despite a long-term injury. T.J. Oshie legitimately earned first star honors tonight. Cory Schneider put up a wall against Phoenix, allowing his team to earn the second point in OT. Dan's Sharks protect their house against the surging Jackets.

EHEC WJC started tonight with a bunch of clubs manned by computer generated players. Namestnikov surprisingly is one of the real ones. :D

Lose badly against Anaheim on the road and tidy up against the Jackets at home. Eh, I'll take it. I do still send a big fuck you in the direction of my Pacific rivals for yet another 3 point game. Sigh...

It's nice to see Boyes earn his pay and Zaytsev pick up his first career point too. Not a bad showing in 2 games for a 7th defenseman. What I'd like next is Clowe to score his first in 14 games, or his first assist in 10 at least.

Kolarik scores his 5th Game winner this year and both PP units get a pair in what was a close game, thanks to that basterd Martin Havlat  . With a decent number of home games in the coming weeks, hopefully we can scrap some more wins together.

Yeah, Schneider really stood on his head to make those 13 saves. :P

Finally a win after going 0-3-1 since losing Brian "The Linchpin" Sutherby two weeks ago.

Oh, and Jim Slater FIRST STAR.

I gotta get over my Slater man-crush. I'm constantly tempted to throw ridiculous assets at Pat to get Slater in Phoenix, yet I have a younger, cheaper, soon-to-be-better version of Slater in Max Gardiner. Still though. I want Slater!

Yeah...I've played once in 6 days (counting today since i dont play) tough to get a win streak going but I played a ton in the first few months so the games played are balancing out now.

Christ, I didn't even notice that. I guess I feel better, since now I can blame the loss on Sieve-galov alone instead of the whole fucking team. Weak...

I promised myself I'd never give Ilya shit again if he won me a Stanley Cup. Oh well, I break promises to myself all the time so I shouldn't be too disappointed.

I leave and my team goes to shit. Go figure.

Too bad I can't scout the 2012 draft down here in the bumfuck south. They can't even spell hockey here.
