The Wings send LW Patrik Elias (65) to the Devils
in return the Wings receive 2012 2nd round draft pick + RW Nicklas Bergfors (63).
With the injury to Mike Richards, Det has no choice but to plan for next yearssss. Bergfors will help the AHL team

Bergfors is a bum and waste of space, Elias adds to my old aged pension line but hey he plays good, 2nd for Elias is pretty much value

Trade approved.
Specify which of the 2nd rounders in NJ's possession is headed to Detroit.
Second round pick went to Los Angeles from Detroit last time Elias was dealt. Bergfors doesn't shift the balance of the trade all that much.

Traded MTL's 2nd 2012 back to New Jersey for the correct selection, ANA's 2nd in 2012.
