I'm of the opinion that a dime is worth more than two nickels... as long as you've got the nickels, at least. I do feel a bit bad giving up one of the few original Sharks left (Pavelski) and two 80+ PL centers, but Getzlaf is a badass and has three things I'm missing in my forward corps (never mind in one player!) - great stickhandling, hitting and consistency. I picked up Schwartz in case I need another playmaker down the line. Kane is going to be good, with 90+ FA and SK, but his PE is a bit of a problem and he's due a significant raise next season. I think I've got enough depth to survive losing two top 9 centers with the surprisingly good play of Skille this season. Good luck to the new Ducks... just not too good as long as we're stuck in the same division.

Accepted! With th lost of Burnmistrov for probably all season long, i was obligated to move one of my great offensive player too get some depth in attack. Pavelski is a great 1st line center with 99 in playmaking and will form a good line with Zetts and filatov. Kane will bring the miss of Burnmistrov on second line with Koivu and Gionta. With this trade, i think i will be more competitive and mabbe acces a playof spot.
