I think there is some nice players left in this draft. Pekka's been good for us but with Pickard getting better and better, I'm not sure I'm willing to pay almost 6M for 2 goaltenders. I get younger, richer and I think I'm offering a nice goalie to Jonathan.

Rinne will be my starter for the next 2 years by the time that Gibson will be ready to step up. plus i have the space for that 3.5M.

Reasoning: Realizing that it takes some deep scouting to find something somewhat near Rinne's trade value, NSH has a better/equal option in Pickard and therefore got what value he could out of what is a limited goaltender market.
