Pyatt has done whatever was asked of him without complaint, but with guys like Kartayev and Basaraba knocking at the door and Patrick Eaves continuing to improve, Pyatt's future is likely to be that of a bench player in Phoenix or to be miserable in San Antonio. The Capitals have been looking for some grind line depth and Pyatt certainly qualifies.

The Phoenix Coyotes accept this deal. Always a pleasure doing business with the Capitals.
