This deal helps me in a few ways. One, it clears Commodore's salary for me to acquire a better winger to play in my top 6. Two, it helps NYI get closer to the cap floor so I don't have to chase him down about it. Three, a top 75 pick in next year's draft should help me either get a solid bottom 6 forward or allow me to trade up in to the second round this year. Four, McIlrath's ready, I can't hold him back anymore or he may stop developing right.
