Confirmed. Barker hits like a truck (harder than any of my current defensemen), has a *Stanley Cup ring* and is reasonably consistent. The 2nd should be a good prospects, albeit unlikely to have Barker's ceilings. Joslin will top out at 70/74 in a few years and Coyle should be a decent player too, but they're not getting especially high on my depth charts and Barker should eventually fill out his CH/PO as well.

reasoning: mainly done for cap purposes this season and beyond. i am over the cap currently and next year i need to sign Patrick Sharp, Andrew Ladd, and Bryan Bickell. If i had Barker that would have made four for next year! as far as on-the-ice goes, the deal is reasonable considering salaries. the 2nd should one day produce an NHL player (fill-in guy to maybe regular), i definitely see Coyle as an NHL player checking line guy in a few years because of his size, and Joslin is needed by da Hawks to ride that Rockford-to-Chicago-and-back-again bus as an 8th d-man / AHL guy. thanks for the good dealin' as always
