Better be Buffalo, after I stood at the Party Plaza for 6 hours of bullshit. Still, I honestly don't think they'll pull it off, and if they do it'll be from one of those unexpected players.

I think the way Philadelphia won Game 6 really changes that series. If they didn't come back from 3-0 and 4-3 and squeaked one out 2-1 or something I'd say Buffalo wins, but I think Philly might take it with their added momentum but I'm rooting for the Sabres.

Philly and Van. Luongo finally decides to save the day and Buffalo's spent after a long series. They're just not deep enough.

I don't want to have to watch the Flyers play another game so I'm going for Buffalo and Vancouver.

Game 7 CHI/VAN was amazing. Crawford was ridiculous. The D in front of Luongo was outstanding. Toews's goal was a fine example of hard work. And then it ends on a horrendous giveaway by Campoli. Dude has 5 months to think about that.

Great, another round of watching the Flyers goon it up to their dumb orange fans' applause.

Oh man what a play by Toews. I saw him make that move and cut to the middle and I'm kinda like uhh....and then I think it was Hossa? got stopped and I was like ok....and then immediately I was like...who put that in?

The guy was on the ground and then leaped in front of him belly down to put it in the net, all for nothing.

Crawford was unreal. I really thought Chicago was going to get a BS fluke goal similar to Game 6 and win in OT. They just seemed destined to win, but nope.

Far different from your Facebook posts and your referee whining. I like this Brad a lot more.

I knew CHI was in trouble when they didn't score on that OT PP. They gave all their energy in the 3rd period to come back and force OT and it was going to get to the point where Vigneault would get a mismatch with the last change and end the game.

I'd be really concerned about Henrik going forward. Dude looked like he didn't give a shit at all in the 3rd/OT.

Vancouver won because I've never seen six defensemen collectively play so well in a game in my life. Everybody played a strong game. They earned Game 7, but let's see what they have left in the tank for NSH, because NSH will be a very, very tough out. Rinne's solid, they play a terrific defensive game, and they're one of the teams who can slow down Vancouver's transition game.

+1 for an amazing night of hockey ending with an epic game. Nick Kypreos had a sick quote when asked what the pressure was like in game 7 vs VAN 1994 after NYR were up 3-1. "Messier just stood up and went....boys, sometimes you just gotta slay the dragon." Luongo and company slayed the dragon. Gonna go out on a limb and say they ship the whole thing.

Granville was BUMPING after the game last night, my voice is still fucked from yelling for most of the night and I probably high fived about 500 people.

EDIT: Oh ya and FUCK NASHVILLE. They took down an Anaheim team that has two lines and two dman. Vancouver has a hell of a lot more depth.

Well, the reffing was a joke, and Toews is a fag for his post-game comments.

They let a lot of shit go in that game, but atleast it was both ways.

Burrows penalty in OT was a bit weak, but it was a penalty, and I think they only called it since it happened deep in the CHI end and the puck immediately was on Kesler's stick.

Burrows was a penalty. There was no question about that.

I'll readily admit that I didn't watch every game, but (not directed at you) stop making excuses for pissing away a 3-0 series lead. Man up and take the responsibility. It's NEVER anybody's fault but your own. If you get called for a bullshit penalty, kill it. Just because the other team goes on the powerplay doesn't mean that a goal automatically gets put on the board. Sack up and kill it.

If a guy kicks a puck in and the refs let it stand, he should have been on his ass or pushed away from the net. Simply, there isn't enough personal accountability. In any sport. It's ALWAYS somebody else's fault.

The reffing in the VAN/CHI series was pathetic.

In the 7-2 CHI win, or the 5-0 wIn, it's pretty hard to blame that on reffing. However, when a team in a series had close to double the PP's than your team and your team was outworking them for the majority of a series, there's a problem there.

When the score was tied, Chicago got 75 % more PP's than VAN.

That's got to count for something.

Biased opinion.

I'd like to see someone 100% unbiased commenting on the officiating. Of course I always think the strike zone sucks during an Indians game when our pitcher is on the mound.

I watched every single game from the first round, and I think the reffing overall was a bit inconsistent.

Phantom calls, non calls and stupid calls are all the same to me, no matter what team I'm watching.

Look, I'm not denying that the officiating was questionable. I just want to hear it from an unbiased point of view.

You guys won in spite of it. It builds character. Leave it at that and take care of Nashville.

The officiating has been pretty bad all playoffs long, particularly in 3rd periods and OT. I'm sick of this 'no calling anything ever' in OT bullshit. Blatant things still get called, sure, but holding, hooking and especially cross checking apparently stop being penalties after 40 minutes.

Rule 61.1: “Any forceful or powerful chop with a stick on the opponent's body, the opponents stick, or on or near the opponent's hands that… is not an attempt to play the puck, shall be penalized as slashing”

Rule 56.2 - Interference: “A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who deliberately knocks a stick out of an opponent's hand,...”.

So technically you can get a penalty for hitting the guys stick out of his hand, that's retarded. Two hands on the stick SON. Don't even get me started on the retarded clipping penalty against Ballard in the Chicago series. Not only are the refs inconsistent, the rulebook is full of shit.

It was very similar to Tucker's hit on Peca, which got clipping back into the rulebook (and enforced) in the first place, so I don't see how it was retarded.

I do hate seeing penalties for lifting a stick, especially when it's "near the opponent's hands" but still just a clean stick lift.

As a ref myself, and not even at a high level, unless it's obvious, I don't want my call and the subsequent powerplay to cost somebody the game. If it's a nitpicky call, I leave it alone. It has to be blatant. I want to be invisible, not some egomaniac.

Unless it's a scoring chance, leads to a scoring chance, or is something I cannot possibly let go (boarding, checking from behind), I tend to let it go.

It was borderline interference, but I'd have let it go. Hip checks are nearly always borderline interference because the guy usually gets upended after dumping the puck.

Clipping was a lame call.
