Just a few days remaining in the season, with two games offering charity points as teams jockey for playoff position. Tampa proclaims the top spot in the East in a 1st round preview game between the Lightning and Sabres, the Pens shutout the Devils, Ottawa comes through in the clutch to steal a late one then grab it in a shootout, Berglund gets a hatty for the Blues, and the Blue Jackets win.

I've got 10 shootout wins. STL has 3.

Nice to see the grinders get on the scoresheet tonight. What a night from Berglund.

@ NSH, v. BUF for me; @ CHI, v. NSH for STL.

So that's a reminder to everyone. Shootout wins are thrown out with the tiebreaker. Just so nobody bitches.

For what it's worth, shootout wins also determine the draft lottery order.

Next year, we'll keep a running total of them stickied somewhere, perhaps in this forum. For now, we'll just wait and see if the issue comes up.

Good to see Lake Erie taking care of business. But no powerplays in the big game?!
