To Florida:
F Michael Nylander [61]
D Brian Pothier [52]
Washington's first round pick in 2010
Washington's second round pick in 2010 OR Washington's third round pick in 2011*

To Washington:
D Bryan Allen [75]
F Josh Birkholz [51]
F Corban Knight [43]

* If Corban Knight receives a consistency boost in this trade, Florida receives Washington's second round pick in 2010. If he does not, Florida receives Washington's third round pick in 2011.

Confirmed. This move gets me under the cap (by $33,621 with a 21-man roster), and I still get a solid defensive defenseman and two hit-or-miss prospects.

You mixed up Birkholz and Knight's CONs. And Birkholz at 51 isn't eligible for a boost.

Oops, thanks. I thought the threshold was higher.

I think we know what you mean, but figured I'd mention this should be Knight, not Birkholz.

Accept. I have the cap space to take on Nylander for a few years. Basically i just wanted to add the first round pick and hopefully even a second.

In.

Corbin Knight did not receive a CON boost, so FLA will get WSH's 3rd '11.
