Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence but I was expecting another 4th seeding after getting edged out by SJ for the division. Though, at least if we get the top seed there's no chance of running into the goddamn Blackhawks in the first round of the playoffs again.

I believe the word you're looking for is seeding. Unless we have assigned seats.

We've got 3 games against each other left, and actually the last 8 games of the season for the Sharks are all against divisional rivals. Thanks, NHL.
I understand they want exciting races to finish the season but why not just make all of the intra-divisional games at the end of the season if they don't give a shit about people getting bored watching the same matchup 3 times in 10 days.

Some real good mathcups, every series seems like it would go at least 5 or 6 games.
