GAME 1 - Buffalo 3-5 Ottawa [OTT - 3; BUF - 1]
Ottawa takes an early lead, Buffalo fights back and ties it up, then the Sens retake the lead and refuse to relinquish it. Buffalo did score a consolidation shorty with just 25 seconds remaining, so perhaps they'll carry some momentum into a do-or-die game 5.
GAME 2 - Toronto 4-5 Tampa [TB - 2; TOR - 2]
An extremely tight game sees both teams exchange the lead repeatedly, culminating in Tampa twice tying the game in the last five minutes of the third, forcing OT with 33 seconds remaining and the net empty. The Bolts would make the tie count, with Jonathan Toews potting the winner and tying the series at two games apiece.
GAME 3 - New Jersey 2-4 New York [NYR - 2; NJ - 2]
Auston Matthews scores his first (and second) goal in ten games and adds an assist for good measure, as he leads the Rangers to a win alongside the series tie, restoring New York's home ice advantage.
GAME 4 - Montreal 3-6 Pittsburgh [PIT - 3; MTL - 1]
Matthew Boldy decides he has a major issue with the Habs, as he scores 4 straight goals (3 unassisted!) to give Pittsburgh a 4-0 lead after 2.
Montreal claws back 2 goals to start the third before Boldy sets up Andrei Svechnikov for the effective death blow, putting Montreal on the brink of elimination.
