Getting back on track here folks, it's a little bit of this n' that on Friday night in EHEC.
Dallas starts the night off by having Kristians Rubins gobsmack Martin Kaut for about a month (22 days, so its 3 games upstairs Mr. Rubins). Apparently bloodlust is their color as they go on to win 5-4 despite CBJ bringing it within 1 in the last minute.
STL continues their western strength as they go into Minnesota and win 4-3, again, despite the other team scoring late, maybe not last minute late, but still. Only 2 penalties all game, both for MIN. STL? No penalties? That's unpossible!
The Isles take it to Filly 4-2, despite only going 1-8 on the powerplay. But PHI continues the tank and what is certain to be a retool, not a rebuild, right Gritty?
OTT returns to their home crowd, licking their wounds from back to back loses to the... NYR?? This can't be right...but end up kissing their sisters with the Coyotes 3-3. Low challenge affair aside, they put up 34 shots but once again its Hugo Alnefelt, noted EHEC allstar goaltender.
Speaking of my lucky ass, I go west to play NSH and its MJF, I mean, MJG with the OT heroics from actual offensive powerhouses Cutter and Matthews. Game was actually pretty even, NYR 1-4 on PP, NSH's 0-6 is probably their undoing. Vladar and Oetter both got a lil swiss-cheesy. L'Heureux continues to love being on the other side of MDC and puts up a 10-rating with 1g, 1 apple, 4 shots, 4 hits, 3 takes, and only 1 give.
Finally the Sharks dispense with the Blackhawks 5-3 on the backs of a 3 for 8 PP, a statline not often seen. UPL was bay-ad whereas Kochetkov plays solid. Tarasenko with the best performance, or Ian McCoshen, take your pick really. Owen Tippet, noted "not even a PPG player" has a solid performance for the Hawks.
