Not sure I'm a fan of the 6 year contract, but McLeod fills a glaring hole on my 2nd line.
I liked Yamamoto, but Krebs and him are too much alike.
De la Rose is exactly what I wanted on my 4th, but I can't afford the contract anymore.
I was willing to sacrifice NYR's pick and Kulich to get this done.

In contrast to his upcoming role in Edmonton, McLeod has been stuck as a very pricy third-line center in Florida. So out he goes, and in comes the playmaker that has been sorely missed since Granlund departed for Montreal. De la Rose is definitely more suited to undertaking a bottom six grit role than McLeod, and Kulich and the 1st help continue the rebuild in Florida.
