Apologies to everyone for the compressed sim schedule the last two days, had a scheduling mix-up on my end.
Western Final Game 2: San Jose (1) - Detroit (0)
Detroit stakes an early lead via the lone goal of the first, before doubling their lead early in the second.
The Sharks pull one back with seconds remaining in the second, the Wings regain the two goal lead seconds into the third, and the Sharks get their second one less then a minute later. From their out though they fail to score again, and Detroit ties the series.
Unfortunately for everyone, James Van Riemsdyk takes out Gustav Forsling for 4 weeks, earning himself a break for 4 games.
Eastern Final Game 2: S Ottawa (1) - Tampa Bay (0)
This one was a tight back and forth for most of the game. Tampa scores first, then Ottawa, then Tampa again to end the first up 2-1. The second sees Ottawa score the long goal to tie things up heading into the third. The start of the third sees the Bolts regain the lead once again via the powerplay, but the Sens find another equalizer at the 50 minute mark. Then, with two minutes left Ottawa scores to take their first lead, and follows it up with an empty netter to seal the game. Ottawa goes up 2-0.
