Buffalo won their second in two nights, so are no longer at the bottom of the East. Meanwhile, the Lightning did the same, putting them 1st in the conference, at least for now. The Hurricanes loss to Tampa, combined with the Islanders' defeat of Philadelphia, widened the gap between 8th and 9th.
Washington takes that spot, having lost to the Habs (in a potential IRL first round preview )

The Wings put 6 past fellow Original 6 rivals, Toronto.
The battle of Alberta ended in a tie.
The Kings took down Colorado in a potential first round preview, while Nashville did the same against the Stars (another potential first round preview).
The Jets lost, again, as they work towards locking down top lottery odds.
Somehow the Coyotes upset the Sharks.

Also of note: I had to make some goalie changes in light of the 67 game limit (specifically Moysevich in Minnesota, Parik and Hellberg in Montreal, Alnefelt in Arizona, and Fowler in Vancouver), while LA's Steve Mason has one more game before he needs to be swapped out.

I don't think they combine AHL/EHEC games to make the 67 tally.

So the rule says "Goaltenders, both at the NHL and the AHL level, will not be permitted to play more than 67 games.", which I have interpreted (this year and in past years) as combining, but I can see why you might not.
Perhaps this is just my opinion, but the only reasons I can see to have a limit on AHL games would be for realism and/or to put a limit on development - both of which would apply to goalies playing at both levels. So if we're not applying it to combined totals, then why bother with an AHL limit at all? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The rule has been applied to the farm, yes, although we are sometimes more lax about it because the farm is inconsequential.

It doesn't really make sense to have a developing goalie start 41 consecutive games on the farm, then get recalled and play another 41 in the bigs, so I clarified the rule to be explicit that the limit is combined across both.

At least it's clarified now.
