Avs accept. More of a luxury move than a need, but "you can never have too many D at playoff time" is more than a cliche, especially after the Krejci injury. Hamara could go on to a career as a 6/7 guy, though not here. Sawyer the autopick is AHL fodder.

NYR accepts. Suter is as described, but I have 2-3 7th D in the AHL and I get Hamara who can slide into that role and AHL depth. It's a sidegrade and fine doing it for youth over a D that might play another 5-10 games for me.
