We gotta stop giving up leads especially multi goal leads but that isn't easy when we're always getting out shot. But powerplay was good and we managed a point.

Goal every 5 shots, haha.

A high-scoring evening, as Toronto comes back to claim a point in a shootout loss, the Sabres win a wild one in Philly, Ottawa outscores the Coyotes, despite the large shooting discrepancy, and Calgary claims bragging rights in the Province of Alberta. http://ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip for your hockey pleasure.

I'm fairly shocked to steal one on the road, though it wasn't without some last minute heroics. Kassian gets his first NHL goal, Huse contributes, the defense comes through offensively; other than all the goals that slipped past Miller, I'm pretty happy with this win.

Good game Ryan, can't wait until Round 2.

Winning 8-2 (with Miller in net for you) in my test sim had me excited, oh well.

Calgary's hot streak this season is ridiculous, as is Philly's meltdown tonight.

Then again Phoenix also blew it against the GM-less Sens.

Another solid night from Malkin. Moving Yashin to the 2nd-line seems to have fired him up. Where scoring was such a huge problem last year I'm getting in abundance right now... Kipper has still started every game so I might have to give him a night off soon, but I don't really want to the way things are going.
