- Mitchell Mattson scored two in the 3rd, including one shorthanded, to lead the Wild in a comeback victory over Anaheim.
- Ilya Samsonov stopped 41 of 42, pretty much single handed getting Columbus a point in a 1-1 tie with Toronto.
- Despite going 0 for 4 on the powerplay, the Wings won 3-2.
- The Sens came back from being down 1-0, 2-1, 3-2, and 4-3, including scoring two goals in the last 2 minutes of the game to pick up the win.
- My bias against Nick continues as Daniel Sprong and Owen Pickering scored a pair each as the Stars beat the Rangers 5-1.
- Connor Brickley led the Panthers to a 5-3 over their Carolina brethren (it's a football joke see)
- Vancouver did even better than the Wings, in that they were 0 for 6 on the powerplay but still won 4-3.
- Also Canada won the world junior gold 6-3 over Sweden, Vancouver prospect Gracyn Sawchyn picking up 5 points in the final o.O
