Reasoning:

After my first few games it's very clear that this season even the playoffs are a huge pipe dream. Stempniak was essentially filler to bring my team some respectability and to keep my games close (hopefully). Ramage is a prospect I liked at the draft and would have taken with my late picks had he lasted.

At the very least he can be a sound AHLer, or possibly even more.

I need some depth up front, Stempniak is a good addition for me. I've a lot of young prospect in defense, so John Ramage is noy a big loss.
