The Bolts scream out to a 3 goal lead, which lasts a little over 4 minutes and fully evaporates with Patrik Laine's game-tying goal midway through the 3rd. Jeff Carter scores on the eighth (!!!) shot of overtime to complete the epic comeback for the Leafs, who are now down 3-2 in the series.
The Panthers scream out to a 3 goal lead, which lasts a little less than 2 minutes and fully evaporates with Jan Mysak's game-tying goal early in the 3rd. McLeod retakes the lead for the Cats, but Alt replies with a little over 5 minutes left in the game. Unfortunately for the Philly faithful, Corey "FUCK COREY PERRY" Perry snaps home one last goal for the Panthers, and the Flyers fail to tie it up a third time with Perhonen off the ice for the final 90 seconds. The Panthers are the first team to book a ticket to the conference finals, their second appearance in EHEC history (I have no memory of 2020).
