Back from Christmas dinners and Boxing Day shopping sprees, home teams nonetheless nearly sweep the board. CBJ pull off a tie scoring some back-breaking last minute goals against the Cats (19:45 and 39:58). The slumping Sens shamble their way to a 3-4 loss against the visiting Sabres, being outshot nearly 2-1. And while it wasn't one of the two exceptions, it's worth noting that the hometown Devils beat the Habs 6-2 despite being outshot 47-15. Carter Hart (lol really?) did not earn one of the three stars for his 45-save performance.
