The Ducks outfly the Jets, despite Schenn's major for taking out Vrana for 2 weeks (2 game suspension). The Canes display jankiness in their first Jank-less game, allowing 5 to the Pens. Several anonymous depth forwards score as the struggling Hawks edge out the stumbling Oilers. Lubos wins the latest Brichta Battle thanks to a late winner from Brock Boeser, also dropping the Stars below .500 (early as it is). And lastly, Jacob Markstrom rescues the Rangers from a possible loss, forcing the still-undefeated Kings to settle for their first not-win of the season.
