An average of 7.5 goals per game tonight leaves Jack Campbell as the only starter in the league above .900 sv% in a weak echo of Steve Mason's 2017-18 season.

I had forgotten about EHM's patented sub-50% challenge % games. I did not miss them.

Holy shit, Kameron Kielly scored in his first game. He may have an NHL future yet. Two assists apiece for the shutdown pair of Galin and Ripley.

Both pro and farm teams allowed seven goals - yikes.

I'll throw the Canucks a compliment, they should be much higher in the standings with that roster.

I'll take that. Im smart enough to build a team, just not nerdly enough figure out EHM.

The annals of EHM history are lined with GMs who did everything possible to build an elite team, only for the luck of EHM sims to turn against them lol.

One year in another league my team finished second overall, only to be swept by a shit team in the first round. Annoying.

This games penchant for inconsistent repetition, weather it be the scoring in games, or wins/losses in a playoff series, to it's total lack of respect for goalies makes it painful.

Who knows, maybe my best chances were pissed away when the team winning my division for a year or 2 was run by a guy rigging the sims

EHM totally disrespects goalies. I can think of numerous instances where my backup outperformed my starter over a long stretch or a full season. In cases where I acquire an elite goalie to put my team over the top, it rarely makes much of a difference.

Yeah, I have a much less expensive starter that sucks as bad as the high priced, high rated one I pissed away 2 first round picks for, thinking that was the piece I was missing.
