Sent both to the farm for the time being. Guessing you want to buy them out unless someone makes a miracle claim?

What real life GM signed Handzus to that insanely retarded contract? I want to say Mike Milbury, but I know that can't be right...

I believe it was fairly obscure Tampa Bay GM Justin Cote.

Fastsign Frazer McLaren.

Might buyout both, one or none. Not sure yet.

Parker, where I come from people that say things like that get slapped. It was the same GM who won a Stanley Cup 365 days before you did.

It's still a retarded contract, sorry man.

Waiting for the "where I come from people that say things like that get slapped" image macro now.

Where I come from, people assess the possible consequences of escalating to physical controntation before actually going through with it. And yeah, like Dan said, that contract is retarded. That was why I assumed it had been signed in real life before the league started. A 3rd/4th liner on a contending team is not worth $5M a year no matter how you spin it. A bad contract is still a bad contract, even if the results are good. I freely admit that Gonchar was one for me, even if he did help me win the Cup. Gonchar isn't as overpaid as Handzus, though.

At any rate, I apologize for the offense.

Ouuuu getting in steamy in here with the 2 champs!
