Kubina will jump into Cole role, def. #6, he's more physical and can shoot the puck to play on my 2nd pp unit, but the more important, his is leadership. The 3rd pick was the prize that Julien have to pay to get a good younger D with a 4yr/1.1M contract with good playmaking ability.

Ian Cole's contract makes him a very interesting player to me. I also have other guys back there with LE and SH but I didn't have that good PL. I picked up Kubina from UFAs and I believe Cole isn't the kind of player still available at LA's 3rd round spot. Also, I can use a guy with a little more PE because my team's PK hasn't been up to standards.
