More moves for the newbie, and this one is a blockbuster!

My bid to get younger and faster continues

Calgary trades:
Milan Lucic
1st round pick in 2019 (18th overall)

To Ottawa for

Novak
Gusev
2 2nd round picks in 2019 (32nd pick overall, 60th pick overall)

We thank Milan for his hard work and dedication to the Flames organization and wish him well.

*EDIT - for some reason I thought I was the gm of Edmonton. Weird.

Approved (BY THE SENS)

I absolutely needed a PF on my second line.
Lucic was not my first target because he's older than I was looking for, but he'll be a decent acquisition anyway.
I'm getting much older, so I also move up into the draft.

Thank you Trevor and good luck with the Flames!

Ok here is the thing.

Trevor is a EHM veteran... of the 2007 version.
I thought It was freeware version we’re using.
So I invited him to get more familiar with this version and with the whole league before doing any moves.

Deal canceled.

Thanks Trevor!

This trade certainly meets the threshold of rejection either way and will not be going ahead. I would like to ask you all to remember these points:

1. Commenting on other people's trades is highly frowned upon. If you have serious concerns take them to PM with myself and Justin.
2. Please exercise restraint in immediately asking for a new GM's top players. We don't have any restrictions for new GMs so these kinds of trades will be scrutinized more closely than others.
3. We will also look more carefully at trades for players involving players that haven't been actively shopped around. While it's understandable that you might just get a great offer and not feel the need to advertise it, and there is no requirement to post anything on your trade block, it really helps if seems like both sides did their homework and came to a mutually beneficial agreement.
