Alexander Gogolev is the early leader for the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy for the Calder Cup MVP as he now has six goals in four games as the Marlies take a commanding 3-1 series lead against the Barons. The Abbotsford Heat get blasted again despite holding the Checkers to just 19 shots. The Rivermen take a 3-1 series lead over the Admirals with Game 5 in Milwaukee on Wednesday. Rockford doesn't roll over and die as they extend the series at least a couple more days with a 6-1 rout.
