So the game heads into period 3 tied, but noted goalscores Steven Stamkos and Zach Budish quickly doubled that lead for Gritty. Svechkov brings the Devils back within one but Knight shuts the door for the rest of the game and Goldobin adds the dagger/insurance marker with a little under 2 minutes to go, before the Devils can even pull Fucale (who was rather bad). And with that, the Flyers are on to round 2.
